As many of you know, Ian and I are blessed with four wonderful (and mischievous) children. Our eldest, Lea, has had a deep love for animals ever since she could remember. From the moment she was able to reach them, she became especially enchanted by the Corgi breed.

Lea’s deep passion for Corgis is a beautiful reflection of the family legacy she’s a part of. One that spans four generations of ethical breeders. From a young age, she’s been immersed in the world of Corgis, guided by the wisdom and principles passed down by us, her grandparents, and great-grandparents.

Her commitment to the breed goes beyond just the joy of breeding; it’s rooted in a genuine love and respect for the dogs themselves. She has learned that breeding isn’t simply about producing puppies; it’s about ensuring the health, temperament, and well-being of every animal she brings into the world. Her grandparents and great-grandparents taught her to prioritise the breed’s integrity—focusing on maintaining the Corgi’s unique traits, such as their loving nature and intelligent demeanour, while also ensuring they are healthy and well-socialised.

Her ethical breeding practices reflect the high standards she’s inherited. She understands the importance of responsible breeding, selecting only the best matches to maintain genetic health and avoid hereditary issues. We have instilled in her a deep respect for transparency, so she always shares information with prospective owners, ensuring they understand the responsibilities of owning a Corgi. This transparency also extends to her careful health screenings, where she goes above and beyond to ensure that the puppies are free of common genetic conditions.

For Lea, it’s about creating lifelong bonds between the Corgis and their families, knowing that the puppies she raises will thrive in loving homes. Her passion is evident in every aspect of her work—from the time spent with each dog, ensuring their comfort and happiness, to her dedication to learning and improving her breeding practices. She’s not just a breeder; she’s a steward of the breed, carrying on a tradition that’s been carefully nurtured over generations, ensuring that future generations of Corgis are healthy, happy, and well-loved.
